Android application: Digital Collection
Privacy policies
We take your privacy very seriously and, since we are not lawyers, we want the privacy policy to be brief and simple, while We describe everything you need to know about the application.
1. We do not process any payment by ourselves.
• Purchases in the application (Acquisition of the PRO Subscription), if performed, are processed by Google Inc.
• Payment information is handled by Google Inc.
• We are not involved in the purchase process in any way, therefore, we do not, and we can not collect all kinds of information in the process.
2. The application needs access to the storage of the device to save the backup copies, the reports in PDF and the files to export the information in Excel (.xls).
The content of the storage of the device is not accessed, viewed, reproduced or deleted, unless the user, using the application, performs such operations (For example, saving the backup copy in another folder, attaching the photograph of a product from the gallery, etc.).
3. We offer the possibility of sharing files (for example, reports in PDF) and images (for example, the payment ticket) through third-party services (such as social networks or messaging applications).
The process of shared use is handled by the official application of the respective service, therefore, it is recommended to verify their respective privacy policies.
4. To continue offering the application for free and monetize the development of it, we show third-party ads through the Google AdMob ad network.
To enable the ad, we incorporate a third-party software development kit (SDK) for these ads.
The anonymity of the data of our free mobile users is maintained both for us and for third-party advertising agencies. However, the SDK code of advertising agencies usually collects data to create profiles in order to customize the ads to suit you. The SDK may collect information, such as your Android advertising identifier, operating system details and other statistical and technical information.
If you do not want to see third party ads, you can uninstall the Digital Collection application, or acquire the PRO Subscription, which among some of its benefits allows you to hide the ads.
5. Online backup
The online backup allows you to backup all the information captured in the application on a server (for example, customer data and collections).
When uploading and downloading (manually) the backup, you can recover the information in case of theft or loss of your device, or keep the information synchronized between different devices (When using the same user account).
For the functionality of online backup, two services are used: Firebase Authentication and Cloud Storage for Firebase:
• Firebase Authentication
Firebase Authentication is used to identify the user who will use the functionality of the online backup. Knowing a user\'s identity allows the application to keep their data in the cloud securely.
• Cloud Storage for Firebase
Cloud Storage for Firebase is used to store the backup online. Cloud Storage for Firebase is a powerful, simple and cost-effective object storage service built for Google scaling.
When customers use Firebase, Google is responsible for processing personal data for them. Firebase services encrypt data in transit with HTTPS and logically isolated customer data.
To keep personal data protected and minimize access to them, Firebase applies comprehensive security measures.
The application saves the online backup with restrictive security rules that only allow a specific user to read or write it. This guarantees the security and privacy of user data.

The functionality of online backup is part of the exclusive benefits when purchasing the PRO Subscription.
An Internet connection is required to: Log in to the account that will use the online copy functionality, upload the backup copy, download the backup copy and delete the backup copy.
The user of the application is responsible for the movements made in the online copy functionality.
It is very unlikely, but not impossible, that Firebase services are not available online for certain periods of time. Therefore, the Digital Collections application is not responsible in such situation if the functions of the online backup can not be processed.
At some point, the online backup service could be terminated, either for reasons of application development, maintenance costs or the completion of Firebase services. Advance notice, within the Digital Collection application, of the cessation of online backup functionality, to allow the user to perform the relevant actions (For example, backup the backup, cancel the PRO Subscription if only was acquired to use the online backup, etc.).
6. The information captured in the Digital Collections application is stored locally on the device, through a database (SQLite) which is only accessible by the application.
However, it is the responsibility of the user to keep the captured information secure (For example, protect access to the device by password).
7. You must read and accept the terms of this privacy policy in order to use the application.
